There is one word to describe my experience at the Lexi, and that is awful. There is much more that I could say, but this review is long enough. In fact, they didn't want us walking around with drinks that we didn't buy from the bar at all (even after the bar closed for the evening). We also were not allowed to have our own liquor by the pool during our pool parties OR bring our drinks from the pool bar to the dining room bar despite the drinks having been made by the bar staff.

The security would not let us use our own cups for water, despite providing free water for us to drink. The only way to get ise was to ask the front desk. In fact, I would say that the rooms had a sort of hostel vibe to them.

There was also no counter space in the bathroom. There was no shelf/rack for soap/body wash in the shower. And this happened EVERY FEW MINUTES and was extremely unnerving The rooms looked cheap. Security would literally walk into the room, stand and stare, and then leave. The room that we had set up for certain experiences was heavily monitored, and the activities restricted to only impact play. They also hired extra security guards (and even threatened their jobs) to ensure enforcement of said rules. Upon arrival, we found out that not only had management decided to not allow the nudity or the smoking by the pool, but that they also tacked on a ton of other restrictive rules. We were told the nudity would be allowed and that the hotel was 420 friendly, so people who wanted to smoke cannabis by the pool would be able to. Cons: We rented the entire hotel for what we were expecting to be an LS friendly weekend. This will be the only positive thing about the review. I was tired that day, so I really appreciated it. Where do I begin? Pros: The lady at the front desk was nice an let me check in early. Security lurked & stared & made us very uncomfortable.

An Uber driver told us that the hotel did not obtain the proper credentials to allow this. Oh and we were only able to smoke Marijuana on the 4th floor or outside the hotel, not poolside. After reading other reviews I think they were hoping to make our stay so intolerable that we would voluntarily leave or they could kick us out & keep our money. Overall the hotel was dirty, housekeeping didn't even make it to my room til the last day of my 3 day stay. Bartenders were also great & would've been tipped alot more had the Lexi not treated us like inmates. We had an open bar daily during certain hours & were harassed about beverages the other times. We were not permitted to walk around the hotel with as much as a plastic cup of water or any other yeti style cup. I think the fact that we were a group of all black professionals scared them. Upon arrival they obviously freaked out & immediately called in extra security. No iron, or hair dryer was provided either. Some of the rooms were freezing, most were hot, our ac barely worked. No shelf in the shower, so you have to put your soap/razor on the floor. the only microwave is behind the front desk. The only place to get ice is from the front desk, there are no coffee makers in rooms, watery coffee & cold water are in the lobby in containers. NO PHONES IN ROOMS! The manager acted like she wasn't aware of this, if we had a true emergency the police & ambulance would've had a difficult time finding us, also if you needed ANYTHING you had to ride the 1 old red lighted slow HOT smelly elevator. The hotel was recently renovated & sub par. The highlights were the front desk staff, very friendly & helpful. We bought out the hotel & they agreed to our terms.
